FRUITAS Holdings Inc. (Fruitas) announced the launch of their cloud kitchen venture, Nube Kuxina.

The cloud kitchen venture will be the anchor of Fruitas' expansion drive for all of their food brands to be marketed in select areas of the country as they have completed strategic acquisitions since their listing on the Philippine Stock Exchange two-and-half years ago.

"It makes sense to put all of our food brands together in strategic locations to provide access to as many customers as possible within reasonable distance," Lester Yu, Fruitas president and chief executive officer, said.

The move, along with other combinations of initiatives, will allow the company and its subsidiaries to reach customers more efficiently and will provide more strategic locations for distribution throughout the Fruitas store system.

"We will leverage on our internal logistics capabilities and partner with third-party service providers to deliver the best experience possible to our customers," he added.

Fruitas is also expanding the number of platforms which its online store, Babot's Mart, is available in order to boost its e-commerce sales. The store is now online on e-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada. It is also promoting its own e-commerce website,

The company aims to further expand its list of third-party partners in order to provide a more complete and convenient buying experience to its customers. As of August 2022, the group has 720 stores nationwide, of which 106 community stores are under the Babot's Mart, Soy & Bean and Balai Pandesal brands.

Fruitas' third-party partners range from various drinks, snacks and sweets, which complement its own food and beverage offerings.

The most recent addition to the list is the famous Japanese bakery products brand, Fuwa Fuwa, which will offer its sweet buns in 10 Balai Pandesal stores within Metro Manila starting Sept. 1, 2022.
