THE Philippine government has hired a third-party audit firm to determine the real value of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA 3), an official of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) said.

“[The] government has hired consultants to check the financial and technical aspects of the airport and to determine its [real] value. The auditing is currently ongoing,” Roberto R. Castañares, DOTC assistant secretary, said, refusing to disclose any details about the audit firm.
