Philippine share prices on Monday breached the 4,900 mark to close at a fresh record level for the second consecutive session as risk appetite improved on hopes Greece will receive a second bailout package.

At the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), the composite index shot up 63.13 points or 1.29 percent to a record 4,943.84, surpassing its previous high of 4,880.71 registered on Friday..
