FOUR civilians, suspected to be military informants, were separately shot and killed in Barangay Trinidad, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental on Friday, May 14, the military said.

Col. Inocencio Pasaporte, 303rd Infantry Brigade commander, hinted that the civilian killings were a retaliation after 10 communist rebels died in an encounter with government troops on March 23.
